Step 1: Preparation

Spread the tent with the dome up, spreading the rods to the side. There should be a nut in the central part of the dome

Step 2: Pop until ‘click’

Step inside the tent and lift it up as much as possible using the handle. Pull the guide rod down until you hear a distinctive ‘click’

Step 3: Secure the tent

Replace the guide rod with the fixing bolt. Secure the tent pull loops with guy-ropes and stakes provided. Cover the skirt with soil or snow

Press the center of the door until it is in operating position. Attach the door to the tent with velcro, tucking it under the wind flap to seal tent

I bought this tent 3 months ago after watching survival Russian and was immediately pleasantly surprised by its quality. But I decided that to write my comments after a long use of this tent. I love fishing and I am doing it almost every weekend. This tent is the best I have ever had. It has 2 layers. It does not get wet even after 2 weeks under the snow (once I just left it assembled in the backyard). My kids love playing inside. It’s always dry inside. The kit includes an oven and heated floor. The oven holds heat perfectly and it is convenient to cook food on it. The warm floor is a real delight.Installation was super easyDefinitely this tent worth every cent.

The RBM UP-2 is a survival tool - bottom line!
I thank Lars (Survival Russia) and Lonnie (Far North Bushcraft and Survival) for their YouTube reviews.
The tent is extremely over-built and I wish that I would have had this decades ago. Yes, it is pricey but well worth the comfort and quality. As it is said, "Buy once - Cry once." If I added up the money I've spent on "other" tents, I could have bought at least 2 of the UP-2s by now (and been much, much happier).
The double-wall construction traps air (insulates) and combined with the "no BS" stainless steel stove AND the insulated floor make this an incredible survival tool. A must have for extreme cold (I live in Alaska) but very effective in moderate temperatures too. Remove the inner liner for less insulation or don't use the stove for warmer climates. Too many good things to say for me - check it out for yourself!
